UT hires assistant basketball coach

The University of Toledo has hired Tandy Bradford as an assistant women's basketball coach, replacing Tina Langley, who has taken a job as an assistant at Clemson.

Bradford recently completed her third season as the head women's coach at Kentucky Wesleyan, an NCAA Division II school in Owensboro, Ky. For two seasons before that she was an assistant at Kentucky Wesleyan.

Bradford is 29 and a native of Hutchinson, Kan. She played two years of college basketball at Highland (Kan.) Community College, then played her final two seasons at Thomas More College in Crestview Hill, Ky., where she earned a degree in English and secondary education.
