CLEVELAND - Sophomore forward Danielle Bishop made 5 of 6 3-point attempts and scored 18 points as the Toledo women defeated Cleveland State 81-67 yesterday, snapping a five-game losing streak.

Senior center Karin Hoogendam went 5 of 7 from the floor for 12 points, while Kristi Zeller added 10 points and five assists.

"We shot the ball well today," said UT coach Mark Ehlen, whose team improved to 2-5. "Our ability to knock down shots was the difference in today's contest. This is a big win for us, especially on the road."

Toledo next will play in Puerto Rico in the San Juan Shootout on Dec. 20-22. UT faces Towson in the opening round of the tournament.
