Karin Hoogendam scored 26 points and hauled down 13 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the University of Toledo fell in nonconference women's basketball to St. Francis (Pa.) 82-79 in overtime.

Hoogendam hit a pair of free throws to give UT (4-7) a 77-76 lead with 2:25 to play, the Rockets' first lead since they scored the game's opening basket.

The Red Flash (3-6) took the lead for good with 2:30 to play at 78-77 on a layup by Beth Swink.

St. Francis pushed the lead to 82-77 before UT's Olivia Terry closed out the scoring by making two free throws with 14 seconds to play.

Terry scored a career-high 18 points for the Rockets.

Swink led all scorers with 33 points, making 13-of-21 shots from the field and 7 of 8 free throws.

Sarah Bolton added 11 points and Christin Black 10.

"If we played as hard as we did the last three to five minutes of regulation for all 40 minutes, we might have had a different outcome," UT coach Mark Ehlen said. "I thought Karin played well tonight offensively, especially in the second half. She played hard down the stretch, but we still have a number of people who aren't shooting the ball well and that continues to haunt us."

The Rockets were held without a field goal for the last 4:14 of overtime, making only 1 of 7 shots.
