Toledo sophomore Myriam Cueva and Bowling Green senior Susie Schoenberger were named to the first team of the All-Mid-American Conference women's tennis team. BG sophomore Ashley Jakupcin earned second-team honors.

Cueva is the first Rocket to be honored by the conference since Fabiana Zilberstein in 1992-93. She led the team with 21-7 singles and 18-13 doubles records. As a freshman, she went 19-12 and 20-13, respectively.

The Rockets' season ended yesterday as No. 9 seed Toledo (9-14) fell 4-0 to No. 8 seed Ball State (14-9) in the first round of the MAC championships in Muncie, Ind.

Schoenberger is the first Falcon in eight years on the first team. Schoenberger has played at the No. 1 singles in all but one dual match, going 11-9.

No. 4 seed Eastern Michigan (9-10) took a 4-1 victory in the MAC quarterfinals to end the season for the No. 5 seed Falcons (12-10).
