Rockets roll on at MAC swim meet in Buffalo

BUFFALO - The University of Toledo women's swimming and diving team is breaking records after two days of the Mid-American Conference Championships, where they are in first place. The Rockets have 258.5 points followed by Ohio with 225 points.

Freshman Jacy Dyer broke a school record in the 500 freestyle with a fourth-place finish and time of 4:51.73 for 15 points. Sophomore Meghan Reissig grabbed a first-place finish when she broke a Toledo record in the 200 IM. She came in at 2:01.24 for 20 points. Reissig broke her own record that she set earlier this season.

Also getting points in the 200 IM was junior Kylie Gamelier. She had a career-best time of 2:06.75 for 10th place.

Senior Megan McKinley won the one-meter diving event with 306.22 points. Coming in fourth for the Rockets was senior Jill Reighard with 277.15 points and freshman Brittany TenEyck in eighth with 222.50 points.
