The University of Toledo will play a home-and-home football series with Wyoming beginning in 2010.

The Rockets will host the Cowboys on Oct. 2, 2010, and visit War Memorial Stadium in Laramie on Sept. 8, 2012. The two schools have never met in football.

Wyoming was 5-7 in 2007, 2-6 in the Mountain West Conference under coach Joe Glenn. The Cowboys were 6-6 in 2006, including 5-3 (third place) in the Mountain West.

"Wyoming will be another challenging nonconference opponent for us," UT coach Tom Amstutz said. "I have a lot of respect for coach Glenn and the job he has done there. We look forward to what should be a great home-and-home series."

Toledo plays at Michigan in 2008, and has a home-and-home series with Ohio State, with the Rockets serving as the home team in 2009 at Cleveland Browns Stadium and then playing at Ohio Stadium in 2011.

Other big matchups include a home game with Fresno State this fall, a series with Arizona in which the Wildcats come to the Glass Bowl in 2010, a home-and-home series vs. Missouri with UT hosting the Tigers in 2014, as well as a home-and-home series with Boise State, beginning with the Broncos coming to Toledo in 2009. The Rockets also play at Florida in 2013.
