UT coach signs 2 players for upcoming season

University of Toledo men's basketball coach Gene Cross has signed two players for the 2008-09 season. Shooting guard Stephen Albrecht of Crown Point, Ind., and point guard Ed Tucker of Saginaw, Mich., signed national letter-of-intents to play for UT this week.

Albrecht averaged 17.9 points and 3.3 rebounds his senior year at Crown Point High School. Tucker averaged 9.7 points and four assists this year at Highland Community College in Freeport, Ill., where he has played the last two seasons.

Cross has one more scholarship available for next season.
