UT's Anyijong named MAC West player of week

Sophomore forward Justin Anyijong was named Mid-American Conference West Division player of the week for the first time in his career Monday.

Anyijong led the Rockets with 13 points on 6 of 9 shooting in UT s 65-55 loss to Illinois-Chicago on Tuesday.

Anyijong ranks third in team scoring (7.6 points) is tied for the team lead in rebounds (5.5) rebounds per game.

The Rockets (2-9) travel to Delaware (5-7) on Tuesday before hosting Dayton (11-1) on Friday at Savage Arena.
