University of Toledo senior forward Jonathan Amos has been suspended for unspecified disciplinary reasons from the University of Toledo men's basketball team. Amos' suspension is for an indefinite amount of time.

"It's something I think is the best thing at this time," coach Gene Cross said. "We hope he can rejoin us soon.

"He has to meet certain conditions. I have full confidence that he will meet those conditions."

Amos has started 16 of 20 games this season and ranks second on the team with 13 points per game and third with 4.2 rebounds per game. However, he did not start Wednesday's game against Akron and played just 16 minutes.

Amos did not travel with UT to Buffalo, where the Rockets play Saturday. The Bulls lead the Mid-American Conference East division with a 5-1 record, while the Rockets are 4-16, 2-4 MAC.
