University of Toledo coach Tim Beckman delivered some moderately good news Monday.
UT senior quarterback Aaron Opelt, who suffered a right (throwing) shoulder injury in the second quarter against Western Michigan on Saturday, will not miss significant time after an MRI exam Sunday revealed no structural damage to his arm.
Opelt is "day-to-day" with a bruised right shoulder, and Beckman said he is "probable" to play against Northern Illinois this weekend.
