Kowalczyk era begins

Tod Kowalczyk shouts instructions to playerswhile conducting his first practice as University of Toledo men's basketball coach at the Fetterman Training Center Friday. The Rockets will play exhibition games Oct. 30 and Nov. 3 before opening the season Nov. 10 at Illinois. UT's first game at Savage Arena under Kowalczyk will be Nov. 19 against Illinois-Chicago in the 2K Sports Classic.
