Edinburg, Tx. — The Texas State men’s basketball team beat the University of Toledo 94-91 Friday afternoon in game one of the Texas Pan American Tournament at the Texas Pan-American Fieldhouse.

The game went down to the final seconds with Texas State escaping with the win.

Julius Brown hit a long range three-pointer for Toledo to bring the game to 90-88 in Texas State’s favor with 36.9 seconds on the clock.
