UT defeats Iona 54-42

    Kyle Baumgartner recorded 15 points and nine rebounds, Courtney Ingersoll sank four 3-pointers for 12 points and the University of Toledo women's basketball team defeated Iona 54-42 on Thursday morning in front of 4,917 at Savage Arena.

    Most of those in attendance were screaming school children, who were here for the Rockets' inaugural Basketball Educational Day.

    Andola Dortch added 11 points and nine assists for UT (4-2), which improved to 3-0 at home this season.

    Kristina Ford led the Gaels (4-3) with 18 points.
