UT men's basketball team gets verbal commitment
3/4/2012The University of Toledo men's basketball team received a verbal commitment this weekend from IMG Academy power forward Aubrey Williams.
Williams (6-foot-6) graduated high school in 2011 from St. Vincent Pallotti in Laurel, Md. before enrolling at IMG in Bradenton, Fla. He skipped two grade levels and celebrated his 17th birthday last month.
Williams is expected to sign with the Rockets in the spring and be on the court next season. He becomes the second member of the recruiting class, joining Chicago-area center Nathan Boothe, who signed with UT in the fall.
