The University of Toledo men's basketball team received a verbal commitment from Cincinnati La Salle senior guard Josh Lemons. Lemons is the second player to commit to UT in a week, joining postgraduate power forward Aubrey Williams.

Lemons, who was named the GCL-South player of the year for a second consecutive season, averaged 18 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 3 steals in the regular season. La Salle was ranked No. 2 in the state poll before being bounced from the tournament in their quest to repeat as state champions.

Lemons originally committed to Southeastern Louisiana in October but reconsidered and re-opened his recruitment, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Lemons was on hand Monday evening to watch UT's win over Miami in the first round of the Mid-American Conference tournament at Savage Arena.
