Rising senior chooses University of Toledo over Cincinnati
7/27/2012The University of Toledo football team picked up a verbal commitment in defensive end John Stepec of Mentor.
The rising senior at Lake Catholic is a three-star prospect by Scout.com. He chose the Rockets over finalist Cincinnati. Other schools to offer include Bowling Green, Boston College, Miami (Ohio), Ohio, Minnesota and Syracuse.
Stepec is UT's ninth commitment in the 2013 class.
