Former UT basketball player named Cavaliers reporter

Allie Clifton has been named the sideline reporter for Cavaliers games on Fox Sports Ohio, the network announced Monday.

Clifton, the former University of Toledo basketball standout, has served as a sideline reporter for the Mud Hens, a sports feature reporter for 13-ABC, and color analyst and sideline reporter for high school and collegiate basketball, volleyball, and track and field on BCSN.

Clifton also has NBA experience running camps and clinics for the Atlanta Hawks and working along-side play-by-play and color analyst Bob Rathbun and LaChina Robinson for the WNBA's Atlanta Dream.

Clifton, a 4-year letter winner and 3-time co-captain with the Rockets, received a bachelor's degree in sports analysis and communication as well as a master's in communications.
