University of Toledo men suffer overtime loss, UT women lose at Dayton
11/15/2012The University of Toledo men’s basketball team pushed Northern Iowa into overtime Wednesday at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa. A win proved out of reach in an 84-81 loss.
Julius Brown scored a team-high 23 points for the Rockets (0-3), who erased a four-point deficit in the final minute of regulation to tie it at 68 and force another five minutes. Dominique Buckley finished with 19 points, while Rian Pearson added 18.
UNI (2-0) made 32 of 39 free throws. UT made 10 of 14 from the line.

Dayton 79, Toledo 76
In Dayton, the UT women were outscored 9-5 during the final two minutes of a 79-76 loss against Dayton (3-0).
The Rockets (1-1) were paced by senior Yolanda Richardson, who finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds for her ninth career double-double.
Andola Dortch added 13 points, six assists, and five steals.
