UT's Zanoguera named MAC West player of week

University of Toledo women's basketball player Inma Zanoguera was named Mid-American Conference West division co-player of the Week on Monday. Zanoguera is sharing the division’s top honor with Central Michigan’s Niki DiGuilio.

Zanoguera is receiving this honor for the first time in her career after being selected the GSU Holiday & Hoops Tournament MVP over the weekend, helping Toledo capture an unprecedented fourth tourney crown this season. The Llucamajor, Spain native averaged 8.5 points, a team-high 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals in 34.0 minutes in UT’s victories over Charlotte and Georgia State.
