UT women lose 73-66 to Central Michigan

The University of Toledo women encountered a hot-shooting Central Michigan squad today and lost 73-66.

This marks just Toledo's third home loss in Mid-American Conference play under fifth-year coach Tricia Cullop, who is now 30-3. It also snapped UT's 11-game win streak.

CMU's Crystal Bradford scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead four Chippewas in double figures. CMU evened its record at 7-7 (1-0).

The Rockets (12-2, 0-1) were led by Inma Zanoguera's career-high 19 points. Lecretia Smith (14 points), Naama Shafir (11) and Yolanda Richardson (10) were also in double figures.

CMU shot 54 percent from the field and attempted 25 fewer shots than Toledo.
