7 UT athletes named to Academic All-MAC team
1/31/2013Seven University of Toledo student-athletes were named to the 2012 Academic All-MAC football team, the conference office announced today. UT had the most honorees in the league, followed by Northern Illinois with six.
It is the most Academic All-MAC selections the Rockets have had in a season, surpassing the 1995 squad that had six honorees.
The seven honorees were placekicker Jeremiah Detmer, offensive linemen Zac Kerin, A.J. Lindeman, and Greg Mancz, linebacker Dan Molls, defensive end Ben Pike, and long snapper Matt Wall. Safety Mark Singer received honorable mention honors.
