The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University football teams each will make at least three appearances on ESPN2 or ESPNU this fall, according to schedules released by the Mid-American Conference today.
The Rockets will host Northern Illinois on Wednesday, Nov. 20, in an ESPN2 contest that will kick off at 8 p.m. from the Glass Bowl.
UT also will play two other non-Saturday games, hosting Buffalo on Tuesday, Nov. 12 and playing at Akron on Friday, Nov. 29. Both of those games could be broadcast on ESPNU.
The Falcons will play at Miami on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in an 8 p.m. start of a game that will be broadcast on ESPN2 or ESPNU. BGSU’s other non-Saturday games are on Tuesday, Nov. 12 against Ohio at home and Friday, Nov. 29 at Buffalo. Both of those games could be broadcast on ESPNU.
Bowling Green will host Toledo in the two school’s annual rivalry game on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Doyt Perry Stadium.
Both school also will play a home game against an FBS school in 2013. Toledo will host Navy on Saturday, Oct. 19, while Bowling Green will open at home against Tulsa on Thursday, Aug. 29.
