Navy is coming off a 35-7 loss at Duke in a performance sixth-year Midshipmen coach Ken Niumatalolo called one of his team’s worst in many years. Navy turned the ball over three times including on a drive to tie the game before halftime. ... Navy, with its famed triple-option offense, ranks 10th in the country in rushing yards (281.2) and 120th in passing. The Midshipmen average 12 pass attempts per game. ... Toledo, coming off a bye week, could get back several key contributors. Inside linebacker Jaylen Coleman will be back as early as this week from a knee injury he sustained in the preseason. Safety Jordan Haden (collarbone), and receivers Justin Olack (ankle) and Rodney Adams (ankle) missed the Western Michigan game two weeks ago. Linebacker Ethan Kagy missed the game as well. ... Navy is among six teams on Toledo’s schedule that played in a bowl game last year. That does not include Missouri, which did not make a bowl in 2012, but is unbeaten and ranked No. 14. ...
