University of Toledo will play cross-divisional football games in 2014 against Bowling Green, Kent State and Massachusetts.

The Mid-American Conference released its slate of games today and will announce dates and times at a later date.

Toledo will host Bowling Green and Massachusetts, and visit Kent State.

Bowling Green will also play three cross-division games: At home against Ball State and Western Michigan, and on the road at Toledo. The Falcons will host East opponents Buffalo and Kent State, and go on the road to play Massachusetts, Akron, and Ohio.

BG will not play rival Miami.

In the West division, UT will host Ball State and Central Michigan and go on the road to Northern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, and Western Michigan.

UT's non-conference schedule, which has previously been announced, features home games against New Hampshire (Aug. 30) and Missouri (Sept. 6), and road games at Cincinnati (Sept. 13 at the Bengals' Paul Brown Stadium) and Iowa State (Oct. 11).

BG will open the season Aug. 28 at Western Kentucky before hosting Virginia Military Institute on Sept. 6. The Falcons close the non-conference season with two Big Ten opponents — Indiana at home on Sept. 13, and at Wisconsin on Sept. 30.
