UT men to take on Eastern Michigan in MAC tourney
3/14/2014CLEVELAND — The University of Toledo and Eastern Michigan will meet for a third time this season in today's Mid-American Conference men's basketball semifinal.
Tip-off at Quicken Loans Arena is set for approximately 9 p.m.
The second-seeded Rockets beat EMU, 77-66, on the final day of the regular season to win a share of the league title. The win avenged a 65-44 setback on Feb. 15 at EMU.
Sixth-seed EMU upset third-seed Buffalo, 69-64, in Thursday's quarterfinal.
Today's winner will advance to Saturday's championship game to face Western Michigan or Akron.
