Storm gets Koopmans, Jackson
10/19/2005The Toledo Storm yesterday received goaltender Logan Koopmans
and forward Todd Jackson from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.
Koopmans had a record of 12-10-1 with Toledo last season. He
had a 2.82 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage.
Logan has the makeup and skill to become an elite goaltender
in this league, Storm coach Nick Vitucci said.
Jackson had 12 goals and 13 assists in 35 games with Toledo
last year.
The Storm opens its season Friday at home against Dayton.
