Storm forecast: Trenton at Storm

• Notes: After defeating the Titans 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday,

the Storm has won five in a row over Trenton. Toledo (36-19-5) has taken sole possession of second place in the North Division and is just two points behind firstplace Reading. Trenton (26-32-3) has not yet clinched a playoff spot and has lost nine straight. The Storm is 8-2-0 in its last 10 games and is 7-2-0 versus Trenton. Toledo will be playing without its two leading scorers, Bracken

Kearns and Scooter Smith. They both have been called up to the AHL. Forward Jeff Attard suffered an upper body injury Wednesday night, but should return tonight. The Titans traded goaltender Dustin Traylen to Pensacola Wednesday. Traylen

gave up eight goals to Toledo the last time he played in the Sports Arena on March 3. Toledo has just 12 games left in the regular season, including fi ve more at the

Sports Arena. The Storm has no chance to win the Brabham Cup, which goes to the team with the best regular season record in the ECHL. Alaska (47-9-4) and Las Vegas (45-10-6) have 100 and 96 points, respectively, and are also battling for the West Division title. Trenton coach Tony MacAulay, who was an assistant with Toledo last season, does not currently have an assistant coach. MacAulay inherited a team that he did not put together after head coach Doug McKay was fired in December.
