The Toledo Storm traded rookie forward Mike Berry to the Dayton Bombers for financial considerations yesterday.

Berry had played in 20 games for the Storm, scoring three goals and adding six assists. A year ago, Berry played in 72 games with Adirondack of the United Hockey League, collecting 53 points (27 G, 26 A).

The Storm also announced that defenseman Mitch Maunu was reassigned from Norfolk of the American Hockey League. Maunu had appeared in nine games with the Admirals this season but had not collected a point. In Toledo, Maunu has played in 10 games and has dished out two assists while amassing 22 penalty minutes.

Captain Jason Malekyo will return to the lineup this weekend. Toledo (12-7-1) sits alone atop the North Division. The Storm travels to Dayton tonight before returning home tomorrow to take on Reading.
