The Toledo Walleye has signed four more players for its inaugural season.
The organization yesterday agreed to terms with Chris Robertson, Milan Maslonka, Ryan Smyth and Brock Wilson.
Robertson, a 25-year-old center, played five seasons in the Central Hockey League and has 102 career goals and 166 assists in 304 games. He scored a career-high 34 goals in each of the last two seasons.
Maslonka, a 22-year-old defenseman from Slovakia, played for Dayton and Stockton in the ECHL last year.
He also has played in the American Hockey League, CHL and United Hockey League. Maslonka had a career-high 298 penalty minutes in 2007-08.
After a record-setting career at Colgate University, the 24-year-old Smyth played three seasons in the ECHL. The right winger tallied 55 points in his collegiate career. He played for Dayton last year where he established career-highs in goals (20), assists (16) and points (36).
Wilson, a 24-year-old defenseman, has played in 132 professional games, including 63 in the ECHL. Last year, Wilson split time in the ECHL between Augusta and Dayton where he had a career-high five goals. He had 32 points (29 G, 3 A) in 2007-08 while playing for Flint in the International Hockey League.
All four players also have been invited to American Hockey League training camp in Rockford, Ill.
