In the two years of the Toledo Walleye, the club has ranked in the top three for total attendance in the ECHL.

In the first season at the Huntington Center, 226,575 fans attended home games to rank second in the league.

Last year, the number dropped to 214,311. That still was the third-highest in the league. The average crowd was 5,953.

As of Sept. 20, the team had already presold 101,785 tickets for this season.

Nearly 2,200 season tickets have been sold for the team's third season. That figure had Toledo ranked fourth out of 20 teams in the ECHL.

Erik Ibsen, the Walleye's assistant general manager, said the team anticipates surpassing last year's total.

"The support shown for the Walleye has been tremendous," Ibsen said. "We look forward to the third season downtown and the number of presold tickets translates into a great start to the upcoming season. With only two home games in October, we will continue to sell ticket plans into November."

Single-game tickets are available by phone at 419-725-WALL or online at toledowalleye.com. Tickets for opening night are available.
