Walleye fall by 1 once again

CINCINNATI -- Joe Devin's second-period goal stood as the game winner on Saturday night, leading to a second consecutive one-goal win over the Toledo Walleye as host Cincinnati picked up a 3-2 win.

Nick Oslund had a goal and an assist for Toledo in the loss (9-12-0) while Bryan Rufenach tallied a third-period goal.

Aaron Lewicki, Joey Martin, and Ryan Blair also had assists for Toledo.

Ryan Zapolski made 33 saves in net for the Walleye. Chet Pickard had 29 saves for the Cyclones (8-7-3).

Also scoring for Cincinnati was Mathieu Aubin and Jeremy Klaver.
