Walleye stumble at Cincinnati

CINCINNATI -- The losing streak hit six games for the Walleye, this time a 5-2 defeat at the hands of host Cincinnati on Friday night.

Joey Martin notched both goals for the Walleye (28-37-6) while Cincinnati (34-28-9) kept pace for the eighth and final spot in the ECHL Eastern Conference standings. The Cyclones are in 10th with one game to go in the regular season.

Gleason Fournier, Kyle Rogers, Bryan Rufenach, and Nick Oslund each tallied assists in the loss.

Alex Richards made 35 saves for Toledo while Brian Foster stopped 24 Walleye shots.
