A day full of hockey hosted by the Toledo Walleye will be held Oct. 6 at the Huntington Center.
The event will be capped by two minor league exhibition games. The Walleye will play the Kalamazoo Wings at 9 p.m.
The Walleye will practice at 10 a.m. to start the event. Four consecutive youth hockey games, featuring local teams, will follow from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Two American Hockey League teams, the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Lake Erie Monsters, will play at 6 p.m.
Tickets to all of the games are $5 for general admission seats. All proceeds benefit the team's charitable fund -- Walleye Wishing Well.
The Walleye open the regular season the following Saturday at the Huntington Center against Kalamazoo on Oct. 13.
