READING, Pa. — Andrej Nestrasil scored two third-period goals, and the Toledo Walleye never relinquished that lead in a 4-2 victory against the Reading Royals on Sunday.

Nestrasil’s first goal came 3 minutes, 3 seconds in the third, when he took a Max Campbell pass and found the back of the net. His second goal, and fourth this season, came with an empty net late.

Luke Glendening and Wes O’Neill scored the first two goals for the Walleye (4-2-0-0), who return to the ice at 7 p.m. Thursday, when they travel to Wheeling, W.Va., against the Nailers.

Yannick Tifu and Brett Flemming scored second-period goals for Reading (2-2-0-0).

Walleye goaltender Kent Simpson made 25 saves on 27 shots. Defenseman Ben Youds collected two assists, while Campbell, O’Neill, and Randy Rowe each notched one.
