Walleye defeat Kalamazoo in overtime 3-2

Toledo defenseman Max Nicastro scored with one second left in regulation to send tonight's ECHL game against Kalamazoo to overtime.

Wes O'Neill then scored the game winner with 1:54 left in regulation on a nice passing play from Joey Martin and Kyle Rogers.

Kalamazoo scored two first period goals and but the Walleye answered with two in the third period and beat the Wings 3-2 before a crowd of 4,524 at the Huntington Center.

Toledo (12-7-1) has won six of their last seven and three in a row.

Rookie Luke Glendening got the Walleye on the board with 13:30 left in the game. Glendening scored his team-high 11th on an assist from Andrej Nestrasil.

The Walleye host Cincinnati on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
