Jersey Number: 27

Ht./Wt: 5-11, 162

Birthplace: Orland Park, Ill.

Age: 24

Why number 27? I always wore the number 17. But Rog [captain Kyle Rogers] wore that number here. So I went with 27. As long as it has a seven in it.

Favorite way to spend time away from the rink: Like most of the guys I like to watch movies and listen to music. A few of the guys bought guitars and we've been playing together in the apartment. It probably sounds terrible for people walking by.

Hockey player you admired growing up: Jeremy Roenick

Favorite sport other than hockey: Golf. In the summer I play as much as I can.

Favorite type of music: Everything from Classic Rock to new Alternative Rock, to Rap, and Dance music.

Favorite meal? Chicken Parmesan

Have you ever eaten walleye? I have not. I'm not a big fish guy.

Favorite beverage: Arnold Palmer

Best fast food: Chipotle

Favorite Movie: The Godfather II

Favorite TV Show: Entourage

Favorite video game: none. Tiger Woods

Favorite Web site: thechive.com

Do you have a twitter account? @tbroadhurst17. I have an iphone and I'm kind of an addict.

Person you most admire: My dad Terry and grandfather Terry.

If you could meet an person, dead or alive, who would it be? Mark Messier

Place want to go to? Mexico

What's your hockey superstition? I'd call them routines. I have to put my equipment on right side to left. I warm up at the same time. Nothing crazy.

Nickname: Bird Watcher. I got it when I first got here. They didn't know my name. So it stuck. You don't get to pick your nickname.

What would you be doing if you weren't playing hockey? I'd be at home working in the family business. My dad owns a construction company and a pizzaria.

Something nobody knows about you: I can juggle anything.
