Hockey players you admired growing up: Grant Fuhr was my favorite player. Then a little later I liked watching Martin Brodeur. I liked how they played the game. They're athletic goalies.

Favorite sport other than hockey: Watching football and fishing.

Favorite type of music: Country.

Favorite meal: The fish and game that we go catch in Alaska. Salmon and halibut and moose meat.

Have you ever eaten walleye? I have had walleye down here. I'm not sure if it's good to eat what you are. I don't know if that is good luck.

Favorite beverage: Vernors. It's nice being here because it's hard to find at home.

Best fast food: Panera Bread.

Favorite movie: Finding Nemo

Favorite TV Show: Family Guy

Favorite video game: I'm a big fan of Super Mario Bros. I still have Super Nintendo. I love the classic video games. The games are so hard these days. I think it's tougher to play hockey video games than actually playing the game.

Favorite Web site: akforum.com

Person you most admire: I admired my grandpa, George Pearce, Sr. He was an old pioneer. He moved to Alaska before it was a state and worked into his 90s. He had that pioneer spirit.

If you could meet an person, dead or alive, who would it be? Isaac Newton.

Favorite place you've been to: Alaska. Growing up there was amazing.

Top sports moments: Going to the Frozen Four and winning a CCHA championship.

What's your hockey superstition? I'm the kind of guy who has a routine that I try to do the same.

Nickname: Pearce-show. A buddy of mine gave it to me back in juniors.

If you were commissioner of hockey for a day what would you do? Outlaw five-hole goals or get rid of one-piece stick.

Something nobody knows about you: I have a pilot's license.
