Texas Stars sign Walleye's Martin
1/16/2013The American Hockey League’s Texas Stars signed Toledo Walleye left wing Joey Martin to a professional tryout agreement today, and the Walleye signed defenseman Ben Woodley.
Martin scored six goals and 13 assists in 29 games with the Walleye.
Woodley played in 59 games last season with the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League and scored five goals and 42 assists. Woodley also played in three playoff games last season with Evansville of the Central Hockey League.
