Goalie Pearce, forward Coetzee reassigned to Walleye

The Detroit Red Wings have reassigned goalie Jordan Pearce and forward Willie Coetzee to the Toledo Walleye, and forward Jesse Felten has agreed to terms with the Walleye.

The Walleye also released goalie Christian Davis, who was signed as an emergency backup.

Pearce is 12-7-0-1 this season with a 2.48 goals-against average and a .909 saves percentage for the Walleye. Coetzee has 37 points, including a team-high 18 goals.

Felten joins Toledo after starting this season with the Dayton Demonz of the Federal Hockey League. Felten scored 32 goals and 29 assists in 45 games with Dayton.

The Walleye host Kalamazoo at 7:05 tonight at the Huntington Center.
