Parkes, Spratt rejoin Toledo Walleye after being sent down from AHL's Grand Rapids

Forward Trevor Parkes and goalie Jimmy Spratt will rejoin the Toledo Walleye after being reassigned today.

Both Parkes and Spratt were sent down from Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League.

Parkes has appeared in three games with the Walleye, notching four points with two goals and two assists. Parkes, a native of Fort Erie, Ontario, has skated in 34 games with Grand Rapids this season and has recorded nine points with three goals and six assists.

Parkes, 21, also played in four games with Toledo last season and had four goals.

Spratt, who had signed a player try-out agreement with Grand Rapids on Sunday, has appeared in one game for Toledo. He has a 2.98 goals-against average.

Spratt, a 27-year-old from Chesterfield, Mich., also played for the Walleye in the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. He has appeared in 11 games.
