Forward Tyler Pilmore has agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye for the 2013-14 season.

Pilmore made his professional debut late last season when he appeared in 6 games with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. The Walleye claimed him off waivers and the 24- year-old skated in two games with Toledo with no points. He received notice last year as a member of the 2012 Toledo Walleye Free Agent Camp and then attended the main camp in October before returning to Ohio University. He is a Northview High School graduate.

“We saw the work effort of Tyler in our free-agent camp and the main training camp, plus in a few games last year,” said Nick Vitucci, head coach. “He has good skill and skating ability, and he owns a flair for offense as evident by his college numbers.”

He was captain last year with the Ohio University Bobcats. Pilmore completed his collegiate career as the leading scorer in Ohio University hockey history, collecting 227 total points (66g, 161a). The 6’1”, 180 pound forward last year collected 14 goals with 44 assists; his fourth straight year with double digits in goals and more than points.
