Wristbands will be given away today and rally towels on Sunday. Fans are encouraged to wear pink. … Toledo (16-31-4) has lost eight straight games, and longtime coach Nick Vitucci resigned on Tuesday. Vitucci's assistant for the organization's first five seasons, Dan Watson, is now the interim coach. … The Walleye begin a five-game homestand this weekend. … Fifteen of the team's final 21 games will be played at the Huntington Center. Toledo is 9-14-1 at home (7-17-4 on the road). … The Walleye have given up a league-high 3.84 goals per game and are ranked 15th out of 22 in goals scored (2.86 per game). … F Travis Novak leads the team with 30 points (10 G, 20 A), followed by Alden Hirschfeld's 29 points (9 G, 20 A) and David Gilbert's 28 (12 G, 16 A). G Mac Carruth (8-14-0) has a 3.28 GAA. … D Bobby Shea was recalled to Rockford of the American Hockey League on Friday. Shea has played in 19 games (2 G, 2 A). … The Walleye have split the season series with Greenville, winning 4-2 and losing 6-1 at Greenville. … The Road Warriors (28-20-5) are fighting for a playoff spot and sit in seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
