Walleye make more roster moves

The Toledo Walleye gained two forwards and lost two forwards in multiple roster moves today.

The organization acquired forward Ryley Grantham from Evansville and forward JP Burkemper from Stockton. The players were acquired in trades in exchange for future considerations.

Forwards Kevin Lynch and Travis Novak were both called up to Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League today.

Grantham has played for three teams this season, in the ECHL, the Central Hockey League and the AHL. In 22 games, Grantham has one goal and two assists.

Burkemper has appeared in 30 games this year with Stockton, scoring five goals with three assists and 31 penalty minutes.

Novak heads back to Grand Rapids where he had a goal and an assist in three games earlier this year. Novak has 30 points (10 goals, 20 assists) this season for the Walleye in 43 games played.

Lynch has appeared in 53 games this year with Toledo, collecting 10 goals and 18 assists.

The Walleye play at Wheeling on Wednesday. They return home to host Kalamazoo on Friday and Saturday.
