Training session slated for spotting bad weather

Area residents interested in learning more about severe weather may attend the free annual SKYWARN severe weather spotting training for Wood County at 6:30 p.m. this evening at the Rossford Fire Station.

Sponsored by the Rossford fire department and the Wood County Emergency Management Agency, the training will be led by representatives of the Cleveland office of the National Weather Service. Participants will learn to identify and report severe weather occurrences to the National Weather Service and local officials.
