First flurries of the season fall

Yes, that was snow you saw falling from the sky in Toledo.

The first snow of the year is coming in the form of flurries. Although no accumulation is expected, the National Weather Service in Cleveland is reporting a chance of sporadic rain and snow showers in Toledo and the region before 11 p.m. Thursday, and then a slight chance of snow showers between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., with a low of 30 degrees.

Flurries were spotted in downtown Toledo shortly after 5:30 p.m.

A slight chance of snow is expected after 2 p.m. on Friday as well, with a high of 44, according to the NWS.
