The temperature at Toledo Express Airport hit 81 degrees Monday afternoon, breaking a 91-year-old record.
According to the National Weather Service, the new all time record high occurred at 4:22 p.m. The previous high for this date was 78 degrees set in 1921.
The Toledo area also broke a record Monday for consecutive 60-degree or higher days in March. The old record was eight such days, set in 1945.
