Workshop scheduled for writers

PRIZM Creative Community will present a workshop called Publishing Creative Writing: Getting in the Game, led by Wendell Mayo, who teaches writing at Bowling Green State University. ■ A free Art Walk will be 5 to 8 p.m. tonight in downtown Port Clinton, featuring ECO-Green Sculptures. It's organized by the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council. Information: 419-341-0804 and www.portclintonarts.org.

■ The Northcoast Arts Alliance's meeting will be 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 3 in the Merry-Go-Round Museum, 301 Jackson St., Sandusky. David Taylor, executive director of the Sandusky State Theatre, will speak about collaborative opportunities with the theater and the area's growing arts scene. ■ Ai Weiwei: Circle of Animals/​Zodiac Heads opens Saturday and continues through Jan. 26 in the Cleveland Museum of Art. In this work, contemporary Chinese artist Weiwei contributes humor to the drama of animal sculptures that once decorated a fountain clock in the European gardens of a summer palace of an 18th century Chinese emperor.
