•Summer Reading Club for grades K-5 continues to July 6, Delta Public Library, Main Street.

•Preschool Storytime every Tuesday in June at 10 a.m. Special guest storytellers each week. Delta Public Library, Main Street.

•Party in the Park, sponsored by Swanton Area Chamber of Commerce, 6-10 p.m. June 29 at Swanton Memorial Park. "On the Beach" band plays classic and variety of rock and roll. Happy the Clown has free balloons for children. Food, beverages.

•Swanton Public Library events: Now through July 14 teens can earn a free ticket to a bowling and pizza party July 28. Rules and details available at the library, 305 Chestnut St.

•Mainly Mysteries Summer Reading for adults. Enter to win prizes by completing an entry slip each time a book or magazine is returned.

•Get a Clue Summer Reading program through July 26. Special events every week for babies through grade five. Children read any 10 books to be entered in the prize drawing on July 27. Read aloud to someone else, have someone read to you, or read by yourself. Final event is Mystery of the Missing Books. with magician Jim Kleefeld at 10:30 a.m on July 17. Free.

•Paws to Read program 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m., Swanton Public Library. Kids read aloud to certified therapy dog. Registration required and parents must sign a permission form. Free.

•Swanton Community Alumni Band seeks musicians to perform at the Aug. 25 Swanton Corn Festival. High school students and older are welcome. For more information, phone 419-825-5011.
