Four Boy Scouts from Troop 222 of Little Flower Parish received their Eagle Scout badges on Jan. 12 at an Eagle Court of Honor. They are:

Greg Holshoe, a senior at Northview High School, who did a project for the St. Vincent de Paul store that involved installing shelves in the basement to hold glassware, kitchenware, and small appliances.

Matthew Kruse, a senior at St. John's Jesuit High School, who also worked on a project to help the St. Vincent de Paul store. His project involved painting the entire basement storage and sorting area.

Matthew Barchick, a senior at St. John's Jesuit High School, who designed and installed shelves for the Mom's House storage shed and then reorganized the contents.

Kevin Shinaver, a junior at St. Francis de Sales High School, who organized a drive to benefit the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. He collected school supplies and games for children in Belize in Central America.

Martha Rother, a former school board member in Findlay and immediate past president of the Ohio School Boards Association, has been selected to be one of the ten members of the association's VISA Team (Visionary Initiatives for Strategic Action).

The team's responsibilities include creating an organizational plan for the state's boards of education.
