Student of the Week: Jesup Brooks

Jesup Brooks, a senior from Toledo, plans to attend Bowling Green State University to study graphic design and minor in German. He plans a career as a video-game designer. Jesup enjoys art, English, and German and has a 3.96 grade point average.

Jesup is a member of the German Club and German Honorary, and the Book Club. He is a long-distance runner for the track and field team, a former cross-country runner, and a member of the stage crew for several Whitmer theatrical productions.

He has done community service at the American Red Cross and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 606.

"Jesup is an impact student and athlete," said Erik Worstell, English teacher. "He leads by example, is always friendly and courteous, and is academically outstanding. He is a well-rounded young man."

Jesup is the son of Dave and Tina Brooks.
